To all Engineering Students:
The Dean of UConn Law School will be hosting a “Law School for Engineers” gathering at 6 pm on February 10 in 307 Laurel Hall. He will be joined by two partners from Cantor Colburn - Sean Sullivan (UConn engineering grad) and Charlie O’Brien. Each brings a unique perspective as Sean is primarily a patent prosecutor and Charlie’s time is spent in patent litigation, IP licensing and opinion work. They will be talking to our students about the career opportunities in the law for students with engineering backgrounds.
Anyone interested in exploring the world of patent law, technology transfer, and intellectual property strategy will find this an excellent opportunity to hear from those who know the field the best.
Pizza and other refreshments will be served.
