Professional Summary

Dr. Wille’s research has been focused on material design, structural application and computational simulation of ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) and fiber composites. His main research falls into the following areas: (1) UHPC material characterization under static and impact loading, at ambient and elevated temperatures; (2) UHPC material design for enhancement of durability, mechanical performance, cost-efficiency and environmental impact; (3) UHPC structural performance in combination with reinforcement steel and steel girder; (4) Nano-engineering of UHPC by emphasizing research on understanding nano-particle dispersion inside cementitious composites.
