An “Accidental Dean” Becomes a Transformative Leader

Kazem Kazerounian has served as the Dean of the UConn School of Engineering since 2012, overseeing a period of transformative growth. But, Kazerounian never envisioned becoming an administrator when he was hired as an assistant professor in 1984. Because of this, Kazerounian has evolved from a self-described "accidental dean" into a transformative leader.

According to CSRankings, an organization which compiles a metrics-based rankings of the top computer science programs in the world, the University of Connecticut ranks among the top 10 when it comes to research output in the fields of bioinformatics and computational biology.

10% Discount Offered to Alumni Looking to Advance Their Education

The UConn School of Engineering Professional Education program announced that it has created a new alumni discount, a 10% reduction off of the program’s fees for alumni who do not have company sponsored tuition reimbursement policies.
