April 27 is Senior Design Day
On Friday, April 27, the School of Engineering will host its Senior Design Expo, the culminating day for graduating seniors when they display working models of devices they designed and built to solve a real-world problem. That day, dozens of teams from the departments of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering – as well as the Biomedical Engineering and Management & Engineering for Manufacturing programs – will demonstrate and discuss their design projects and deliver oral presentations before a team of judges. The event typically draws hundreds of attendees, including fellow students, faculty, industry representatives and proud parents.
