University of Connecticut School of Engineering EAGLES: Engineers As Global Leaders for Energy Sustainability


In order to be eligible for EAGLES the UConn student may be one of the following:

  • Current M.S. student in Engineering about to complete his/her first year of courses. Only M.S. students who have selected Plan A Thesis for their degree are eligible.
  • Current senior in an Engineering B.S. program who has been accepted for an M.S./PhD degree at UConn School of Engineering.

Current M.S. students in Engineering who are about to start their first year at UConn may apply for the following academic year to complete their second year of M.S. study at PoliMi or UPM. These students will complete 1 academic year at UConn and 1 academic year at PoliMi/UPM followed by a research period of 2-3 months at PoliMi/UPM to complete their thesis.

Current seniors in an Engineering B.S. program may apply after being accepted to UConn’s M.S./PhD program in Engineering.
