Adina C. Cherry


Adina Cherry is a Founding Partner and President of The Hypatia Group, a holding company of business interests and IP in advanced information and biotechnologies, including the wholly-owned subsidiary Hypatia Project, a joint venture partner with the Department of Commerce for the development of government-wide data innovation and cloud computing technologies. She earned her M.S. in Electrical Engineering from UConn in 1995 and her B.S. from Middle Tennessee State University.

Ms. Cherry has over 20 years of executive experience in business development, program management, and international business. She was the Vice President of Global Business Development, Airborne Systems, at Terma NA, where she provided leadership and growth strategies for international sales. She spent over 10 years at Northrop Grumman, where her latest position was Deputy Director of International Programs for the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Division. Her responsibilities included customer relationship management, leading product and program teams, and establishing the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Division’s International Program Office. Ms. Cherry also held several management positions at SAIC, culminating in Strategic Partnerships Manager for International Business Development. In her time with SAIC, she worked out of New Delhi, India and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
