Derek Blazensky is a founder and General Partner of Cardinal Venture Capital, a $125 million private equity fund that invests in early stage software companies. Prior to forming Cardinal, Mr. Blazensky managed venture investments for Adobe Ventures. Before Adobe Ventures, Mr. Blazensky was a marketing director at Adobe Systems. Earlier in his career, he held engineering positions at Teknowledge Inc., an early pioneer of artificial intelligence, and Grid Systems, developer of the first laptop computer. He serves on the Board of Directors of three private California companies: GuardianEdge Technologies, Nimblefish Technologies and Telcontar.
