Distributed Security System (DSEC) - The Theory

DSEC research has its roots in work on role-based security in an object-oriented setting, which was conducted by Dr. Mei-Yu Hu as part of her doctoral research {"Definition, Analyses, and Enforcement of User-Role Based Security in an Object-Oriented Design Model", UConn Ph.D., May 1993) under the supervision of Professor Steven Demurjian at the University of Connecticut.
