Laser Systems

Spectra Physics dye laser system including:
    QuantaPro-230 Nd:YAG Laser
       - 650 mJ/pulse at 532 nm
       - 7 ns pulsewidth / 10 Hz repetition rate
    Sirah dye laser with LambdaLok wavelength control
       - +/- 2.5 pm controlled accuracy





LaVision particle imaging velocimetry system including:
    50 mJ/pulse double-cavity SoloWave Nd:YAG laser
    PCU timimg unit
    1.3 MPixel frame straddling CCD camera
    2-processor PC
    DaVis processing software





Laser diode system including:
    2 Thorlabs temperature controllers
    2 Thorlabs laser current controllers
    ILX Lightwave laser diodes at 1310 nm and 1550 nm

Counterflow burner with contoured inner and outer nozzles for laminar nonpremixed, partially-premixed and premixed flames


Water-cooled counterflow burner with straight nozzles


5-channel slot burner for laminar flames with composition gradients


3-D counterweighted burner translation system with stepper motor control


Optically Accessible Fuel Cell


Gas flow system including:
    2 Mass flow controllers (Omega) up to 50 LPM
    4 Rotameter channels
    4 Choked-orifice pressure controlled flow channels
