The Voting Technology Research Center

The mission of the VoTeR center is to advise state agencies in the use of voting technologies and to investigate voting solutions and voting equipment to develop and recommend safe use procedures for their usage in elections. Our activities span the investigation of voting technologies to determine their strength and weaknesses, the design of safe use rules to mitigate the shortcomings of voting solutions as well as the design of pre and post election audit procedures.
