A sophomore double majoring in Materials Science and Engineering and Chemical Engineering and she will act as Secretary to the chapter for the 2008-2009 calendar year. During the summer Katie, as she prefers to be known, works as a tutor to incoming engineering students in the BRIDGE Program. Other affliations include the Matieral Research Society UConn chapter and AIChe, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers at UConn.
During the winter Katie loves to snowboard!
