Edgar B. Sweet, III

Edgar Sweet is currently Director of Regulatory Compliance & Integrity Management at Novara GeoSolutions and the CHA Group of Companies. A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Sweet began his career at Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation in Boston in 1980 and over the years has held senior management positions for several engineering, consulting, and software solutions firms serving the oil and gas industry. His expertise is in the areas of regulatory compliance assurance, asset and integrity management, and operational process improvement.

During his career, Mr. Sweet has worked with many of the country’s largest pipeline operators and natural gas utilities, helping them with programs and solutions designed to sustain and improve the safety and reliability of their assets and operations. He has also traveled extensively throughout the world in various management capacities and has provided advisory services throughout South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

Mr. Sweet earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 1980 and a M.S. in Management from Lesley University.
