Title - EXORcisms for integrated circuits
Presented by - Kartik Mohanram, University of Pittsburgh
Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss recent advances -- centered around the exclusive-OR (EXOR) -- in the design of digital and analog integrated circuits. I will discuss applications related to robust design for scaled CMOS and novel low dimensional nano-materials such as graphene and carbon nanotubes.
Bio: Kartik Mohanram received the B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Bombay in 1998, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin in 2000 and 2003, respectively. He is currently with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. His research interests span computer engineering and systems, nano-electronics, and computational biology. He is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award, the ACM/SIGDA Technical Leadership Award, and the A. Richard Newton Graduate Scholarship.
