NANOTECHNOLOGY RESEARCH
General
Nanotechnology is, generally, the emerging ability to understand materials and products at the atomic level, and to exploit this
understanding of how materials act and react during manufacture, in response to stimuli, etc., to create better performing and longer
lasting materials and products. Many of the faculty members associated with the School of Engineering are involved in nanotechnology
research, including faculty in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, and Electrical &
Computer Engineering.
Selected Research Profiles
