Associated Faculty

Faculty members within the School of Engineering who are actively involved in research involving nanotechnology include:

John Ayers fluid mechanics and heat transfer of reacting single-phase and multi-phase flows
Baki Cetegen aerosol science, combustion, nanostructured ceramic materials
Maury Gell microelectronic/optoelectronic devices, multiple quantum well light valves/modulators and SLMs
Bryan Huey nanoscale characterization of electronic and mechanical properties of materials
Faquir Jain in-situ fuel cell diagnostics, near infra-red laser adsorption spectroscopy, water, carbon dioxide, and carbon monoxide concentration
Eric Jordan nanostructured coating materials development and processing
Nejat Olgac precise nanomanipulation of medical devices
Leon Shaw thermal sprayed nanostructured coatings, nanostructured aluminum alloys
