At this time, practicing engineers who are currently employed by participating companies are eligible for
participation in this program. Professionals seeking a degree must meet admission requirements of the Graduate School at the University
of Connecticut. Professionals not in pursuit of a degree but wishing to enhance their skills may enroll as non-degree students (click here for details).
The School of Engineering intends to expand the program to interested industry partners who have a significant engineering workforce. For more detailed degree information, refer to the online admission criteria described at:

In general, admission requirements are as follows:
The applicant must hold a baccalaureate (B.S.) degree from an accredited college or university or present evidence of the equivalent.
The applicant's college transcripts must be of at least the following quality:
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 for the entire undergraduate record, or
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 for the last two years; or
- Excellent work in the entire final year.
Applicants whose records indicate deficiences may be refused admission or required to either take background courses without graduate credit or demonstrate by examination that they have acquired the requisite knowledge or skills for graduate study.
Applicants must complete and submit application materials to the UConn Graduate School in advance(several months early is advisable) of the first semester of course work.
Our Master of Science degree program is open to all prospective
students who qualify based on our eligibility requirements.
