Dr. Han’s research interests are in the general area of real-time and embedded systems, wireless networking, pervasive computing and real-time big data streaming and analytics. He has worked extensively on high-speed wireless communication protocol and reliable network management technique design for smart rehabilitation systems and applications. His current research focus is on real-time big data streaming and analytics for Cyber-Physical Systems, eHealth systems and applications. Dr. Han has contributed over sixty publications including journal papers, conferences publications, technical reports and U.S. patent. Dr. Han received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin in December 2012 and M. Phil. in Computer Science from City University of Hong Kong. He is the sole recipient of the James C. Browne Graduate Fellowship in 2010 and the recipient of the Microelectronics and Computer Development Fellowship from 2006 to 2009.
