My research focuses on cake filtration, sedimentation, transport
in porous media,
bacterial transport, groundwater phenomena, and analytical methodology;
modeling the transport of particles, migration and capture of
solid particles through porous media; development of mathematical
models for the cake thickness, the concentration of solid particles,
the conservation of mass equations for fluid, and suspended and
captured solid particles along the cake
thickness, and functional relations among porosity, permeability,
and pressure.
My research is applicable in oil well drilling operations, water
and wastewater treatment, activated sludge processes, ground water,
solid-liquid separation and other industrial filtration processes.
