Graduate Program - Financial Aid

Various kinds of financial support are awarded competitively to academically qualified graduate students.

Information on research and teaching assistantships is available from the Environmental Engineering Program, (860)486-3548 or nature@engr.uconn.edu. In return for a tuition waiver, stipend and health benefits, the student commits 20 hours per week to the assistantship. Applicants may request consideration for an assistantship on the application for graduate admission submitted to the Graduate School.

For information on other types of financial assistance, applicants are referred to the Graduate School catalog. The Financial Aid Office at the University of Connecticut allocates general need-based financial aid from federal and University sources. In order to assure consideration, the applicant must file a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by the required deadline (details are available from the Financial Aid Office, (860) 486-0945).
