Connecticut Invention Convention
The School of Engineering will once again host the state-wide Connecticut Invention Convention (CIC)
at Gampel Pavilion on Saturday, May 3. The event brings more than 2,500 attendees to campus, including young contenders in grades K-8 who demonstrate and
discuss an invention of their own design and construction. Marty Wood, Assistant
Dean of Undergraduate Education, serves as Vice President of CIC's Board of Directors, and
Dr. Ramesh Malla is the UConn coordinator and also serves on the CIC Board of Directors.
