Civil & Environmental Engineering
The Civil & Environmental Engineering department held its third annual Career
Fair Tuesday, February 19, 2008 in the Rome Commons Ballroom. The event, organized and
hosted by the UConn Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), drew 56
companies 
representing a the whole spectrum of civil engineering: from general contractors, consultancies and construction firms to transportation, structural and geotechnical engineering companies. Besides offering full-time career opportunities for graduating seniors, the companies were also recruiting sophomores and juniors for summer internships. Fair organizers included ASCE UConn chapter president Matt Ranando, vice president Nick Keenan, treasurer Nate Bergan and secretary Alison Galasso.
