FAQ

I cannot log into KDE!

It is most likely that you are over quota. KDE needs to create some temporary files when you log in, and it cannot. You can check your disk utilization here: http://www.engr.uconn.edu/ecs/page.php?id=accounts&pId=gq.

You should be able to log in via ssh or change the session to something besides KDE and delete some files.

I can log in, but none of the commands seem to work.

It may be that you have deleted your .bashrc or .bash_profile files. Please use the ECS Shell Utility Webpage to reset your files to the original. We do not recommend using any shell besides bash.
