17th Annual CMOC Symposium (April 9th, 2008): CALL FOR PAPERS

Nanotechnology in Electronics, Photonics, Biosensors, and Energy Sources

 

CMOC is pleased to announce that the Seventeenth Annual Symposium will be held on Wednesday, April 9th, 2008 at Thomas J. Dodd Center, University, of Connecticut, 405 Babbidge Road, Storrs, CT 06269.

 

Highlights: Invited talks in the area of NanoElectronics, NanoPhotonics, Wide band gap electronics, MEM Devices & Biosensors, Alternate Energy Sources, Systems and Applications.

         ++Networking with Academic and Industrial Researchers.

         ++Job and Resume Posting

 

We invite you to participate in the symposium in the following ways:

 

·        Encourage symposium attendance by your colleagues, yourself, and others you know who have an interest in this area.

 

·        Submit a one to two-page summary describing current research/project for a short (15 minutes) oral presentation or for the “Poster Session”.

 

·        The following topical areas are suggested:

Materials           Devices           Applications                Emerging Technologies

 

·        Present current work/products as exhibits that will be displayed during the Symposium.

                           Prizes will be given for best student papers.

DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT: Extended Oral and Poster Papers must be Emailed by February 15, 2008.  Principal author of the accepted papers will be notified by February 28th, 2008. Late news posters accepted by 3/25/08.
