Progress:

- purchased vehicle - why we chose it --> multi-terrain, amphibious

- tested vehicle with hand-held GPS taped on
  ~ 2.2 mph
  ~ 0.25 mile range
  ~ terrain (problem w/ tipping in water)
  
- plan on using microcontroller to tie everything together
  ~ discussed options

- researched GPS unit

- considered hazard avoidance options
  ~ IR/Ultrasonic?

Unresolved questions from last meeting -
Should the program be used to make the vehicle maneuver around obstacles? 
What type of interface unit should be used to input the required data for the vehicle to begin its program?
