In 2012, Jacques Pauleus graduated from Uconn with a BS in Environmental Engineering and a Minor in French. Immediately after he started a MS degree in Environmental Engineering; he is currently taking courses and doing research at Politecnico di Milano through the EAGLES program.

As part of the program, over the summer, he had the chance work with a great team from the Research Group on Hydroinformatics and Water Management in Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, involving the implementation of micro-turbines into water distribution networks; the goal of this project is to combine water saving efforts and green energy production.
