The University of Connecticut, the highest ranked public university in New England, and one of nation's premier research extensive public universities, is inviting applications and nominations for the Dean of the School of Engineering.

As the chief executive officer of the School of Engineering, the Dean provides academic, intellectual, and administrative leadership to the School, and reports directly to the Provost. Candidates must have an outstanding academic record that clearly warrants appointment as a tenured Full Professor. Candidates must also have significant administrative or managerial experience. Demonstrations of visionary leadership and committment to diversity are especially desirable.
