SECURITY & TRACKING RESEARCH

General

Following the events of September 11, 2001, national security has come to dominate the national consciousness of U.S. citizens as well as national policy. Mobilizing resources and relevant technologies; redefining applications of existing technologies to meet emerging security needs; reinforcing the nation's information, transportation, and defense infrastructures - all are now priorities for the nation. Many of the research programs underway in our engineering laboratories have dual-use applications in identification, security and defense.
