Our first meeting of 2003
will be held on Tuesday, April
15th in Middletown, CT,
beginning at 6PM. The Hartford
will be
presenting and the meeting
will be held at Cornerstones Restaurant. Our
first meeting last year was
also held here and it is an excellent central
location for all our
members. The presentation will
begin at 7PM after
we have individually ordered
our food.
Presentation Abstract
In late 2001, the AARP/The
Hartford’s Auto Insurance program was faced
with the challenge of
increasing the quote completion and purchasing
online rates for its
website. This presentation will cover the research
done and steps taken to
improve the usability of the website, as well as
a brief demonstration of the
revised site.
Presenters
Lauri Swanke is a Senior
Market Research Analyst at The Hartford in the
Strategic Research
Department and is responsible for market research
projects supporting online
and Personal Lines research.
Brett Charney is an Internet
Content Manager at The Hartford in the
Internet Marketing
department and is responsible for web analytics and
search engine marketing.
Peg Casey is a Technology
Director at the Hartford in the Personal Lines
Marketing Department and is
responsible for Consumer Internet related
projects.
