The Regensburg Exchange Program
he Regensburg
Exchange Program at the Fachhochschule
(University of Applied Sciences) Regensburg is for students
of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Business.
Students retain enrollment and pay tuition and fees at the University
of Connecticut, but instead of being in Storrs, you spend a year in Germany.
The year abroad is divided into three parts:
From September through the middle of October (six weeks) students
participate in an intensive German course.
From November through the middle of March (four and a half months)
students work as interns in German companies.
From mid_March through June students then spend a semester at
the Fachhochschule in Regensburg.
This year
abroad is about as expensive as being a student in Storrs except for a
few additional fees, which run about $400, and the round_trip air fare.
