Give your own definition of what the term 'sustainability' means.

Briefly describe the specific ecological and social problems that are sometimes attributed to automobile dependency.

Question 2

On page 52 the author states that some transportation planners advocate 'sustainable automobility'.  What would it take for this concept to work?  Could this concept be used to address all the issue you discussed in Question 1?
